"Mi Bohemia" is a solo guitar tune composed by Yago Santos in Mariana form. Mariana is originally a flamenco cante or song that was created in the beginning of the XX Century. The traditional melodies of the cante are contained in this composition, as well as modern and interesting harmonic ideas developed by the composer.
This tune honors the French symbolist poet Arthur Rimbaud, who developed a unique approach to poetry and had a truly interesting life. His work has been an influence on Yago and the environment of the late XIX century is reflected in this composition. The title of this tune is as well the title of one the poems by Arthur Rimbaud.
