This piece is the first solo guitar composition by Yago Santos in which he honors his mentor Rafael Riqueni. The piece was composed during the years 2009 and 2010 in Seville and premiered in 2013 in Festival Flamenco de Vallecas (Madrid). This piece is the single of his first solo album "Alma de Niño" (Karonte / Nuba Records, 2021)
CALLE DE LA MEMORIA (TARANTA)
This piece was composed in 2011 while Yago Santos was living in Seville. It was premiered in Barcelona a year later in a national guitar contest. It is a really intimate piece in which Yago reflects his unique approach to flamenco composition. You can find this piece in his first solo album "Alma de Niño" (KJaronte / Nuba Records, 2021)
CLAIR DE LUNE (GUITAR ARRANGEMENT BY YAGO SANTOS)
In this video Yago Santos performs his original arrangement of the legendary Clair de Lune by French composer Claude Debussy. This piece is the single of his new album "Homenaje a Claude Debussy" (Karonte / Nuba Records, 2022) in which Yago honors the French composer. Debussy has been a tremendous influence in Yago and this is a tribute to him
